Dear Friend of Caumsett,
Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve welcomes close to one million visitors each year who come to enjoy its miles of trails, open landscapes, and natural areas. The Park requires not only ongoing care and improvements, but also a strong voice to advocate for its long-term preservation.
The Caumsett Foundation supports projects that enhance the Park and its visitors’ experience. We also monitor proposed activities and advocate for the protection of the Preserve’s historic and natural resources.
The Foundation is working to advance the Fresh Pond Trail Restoration Project, which will repair and reopen the historic walking trail connecting the Main House area to Fresh Pond. This coming spring, the opening of the Dairy Museum will offer visitors an exciting new opportunity to learn about Caumsett’s history.
Your investment supports these current as well as other initiatives while establishing the essential matching reserves required by major funding organizations. By securing these resources now, we will position the Foundation to successfully leverage future matching grant opportunities that multiply the impact of your philanthropy.
